As usual, I have been MIA for a couple of weeks. I have been talking to some friends about why I've been so anti-blogging lately. I have been very uninspired but I think that I can safely blame it on the weather. This winter thing is just awful.
To beat the winter blahs, Andrew and I decided to do a little bit of an old-fashioned date. Dinner and a Movie. We did the movie first,
Movie 43. I wouldn't say that the movie was very "date-friendly" but the dinner definitely was. We tried a new restaurant that we have been wanting to try for a couple of months. 50 West is right down the street from our house and it was amazing!
We got dressed up which doesn't happen very often, and had a little night in the town.

You can't start out a night on the town without libations and thanks to my mother's friend Jen I have a love for Gin & Tonics.

Needless to say it was a much needed date and we had so much fun just sitting and talking! Sometimes it's just better to get back to the basics. I'm excited to start blogging again! I hope you all had a great weekend too!
Those shoes! I love them! That whole outfit it adorable. My hubs and I need to do a 'get dressed up and go out on the town' date night soon! You've inspired me.
